Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Fieldpin website and software ("Service"), operated by Oblique LLC ("Fieldpin", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Fieldpin provides offline-first field data collection and reporting software for organisations operating in low-connectivity environments. Access is granted on a subscription or pilot basis as agreed at time of purchase.
2. Accounts and Access
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
- You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.
- Pilot accounts are limited to the agreed number of users and duration. Exceeding these limits requires a paid upgrade.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the software.
- Resell, sublicense, or transfer access to the Service without written permission.
- Upload data that infringes intellectual property rights or contains malicious code.
- Attempt to circumvent security controls or gain unauthorised access to other users' data.
4. Your Data
You retain full ownership of all field data, forms, and content you submit through the Service ("Your Data"). We process Your Data solely to provide the Service. We do not sell, share, or use Your Data for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for details.
5. Intellectual Property
The Fieldpin name, logo, software, and all associated materials are the intellectual property of Oblique LLC. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or branding without written consent.
6. Payment and Refunds
Pilot fees are charged upfront and are non-refundable unless the Service is materially unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours during your pilot period. Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually as selected. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
7. Availability and Support
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. Support is provided via email during business hours (GMT, Monday–Friday).
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oblique LLC's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is". We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of field data, or continuous availability.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Accra, Ghana, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
